Clothes Press is an independent publishing platform and low-hum distribution initiative co-founded by fashion writer and researcher Xingyun Shen and graphic designer Kasper Quaink.

A tinypress in spirit and scale, it unfolds as a space where garments and words converge, inviting readers and wearers to reflect on how books and clothing shape us. Through publishing, circulation, and reading, we trace, unpick, and rethread the intimate seams between dress and memory, place and page, identity and form.

Clothes Press has travelled to the MoMu, Fashion Museum Antwerp (BE) and the International Library of Fashion Research, Oslo (NO).

Our current titles include:
Will You Bring Your Book to dblspce (2025)
The Journal of Wear (2024)
